OCAS's old carbon evaporator has recently been replaced by a brand new high vacuum coater.
This high-end versatile film deposition system is designed to produce very thin, fine-grained and conductive carbon coatings for highest resolution analysis as required by TEM applications. It is equipped with a double e-beam coater, automated vacuum control and custom made deposition settings.
