OCAS is equipped with multiple corrosion and weathering cabinets for cyclic accelerated testing. Availalbe standardised tests: salt spray, humidity, 3C, Kesternich, UV-test, etc. We furthermore have in-house facilites and software for detailed and accurate rating of surface defects on panels and corroded samples.
In addition to accelerated testing, OCAS has an outdoor exposure facility on site and has access to European standardised exposure sites, including the specific test sites for weather resistance testing of solar thermal materials of SpeedColl and SpeedColl2. We furthermore have access to the Endures test site in the harbour of Den Helder.
We also have expertise in the field of soil corrosion and accelerated corrosion tests for offshore corrosion using in particular dip-dry testing.
