OCAS has extensive experience in melting different base alloys ranging from very pure iron to stainless steel and non-ferro alloys. The table above shows the wide range of alloying elements for addition. The two vacuum casting units are equipped with a sampling system for hot metal analysis and a Celox® probe for deoxidation control. The vacuum technology allows for high purity grades, precise alloying, deoxidation and Al control.
